The Planalto Estate is proud to have received a series of awards over time that demonstrate it’s firm commitment to quality. Located in South Minas Gerais, Brazil, seventy percent of the land is dedicated to coffee production while the rest is reserved for environmental conservation efforts. Only a few main varieties of coffee are currently being harvested on the Planalto Estate ; Acaiá, Yellow Catuai and Mundo Novo. A Full City roast will reveal this coffee's natural fruity and nutty notes and rich body. |

Processing |
Pulp natural coffees are where the outer skin is removed, similar to the wet process. Once the skin is removed, the pulpy mucilage is left to dry on the bean. This process contributes to a fruitier, yet heavier body, type of coffee. Kind of like getting the best of both worlds if you will. What’s amazing is that regardless of what origin, process, roast profile, and brew method that is used, there is so much that can go wrong. Each step along the beans journey to your cup is so vital to the outcome that it can only extract appreciation from our busy little souls. |
